Default Condensation in my headlight

OK so i'm sure this might come off to be a stupid question - so lets get to it

I opened up my headlights and did the black housing DIY mod that we all rave about.

Didn't wash my car for a while and finally did this weekend and of course the condensation is built up inside my headlight - and then i took it out for a drive at night and realized the headlight went out. I through a rampage and was super sad i'd have to cough up cash for a new xenon bulb/ballast - but the next day i tested it and it worked!!! So as of right now I am on the mission to save my money and get that headlight to not burn out.

The big question: IS there anyway I can get rid of the moisture without having to open up the whole headlight again?

IF NOT - what do i need to do to get the moisture out/reseal it properly?

Please help me because I hope to have this issue resolved by this weekend.

Thanks guys

I did it over the weekend as well. Resealed the housing and then I applied silicone around the HL. I covered up all the visible holes.

Been raining for couple of days and haven't had any problem.

Have yet to put it to a real test of car washing.

Hopefully everything will be fine.

Check and see if you tightened the hid cover well enough. Or open the bulb cover and use a heat gun from the front to get rid of the condensation.

Do it from abt 8 to 12 inches away and move the gun constantly.

G luck
