Dang, but what he said about the flat, matte, satin and gloss black. Is he right about that?

I recently bought a repro rear spoiler for my old BMW, made of fiberglass, as the OEM rubber part has been NLA for quite some time. I wanted to duplicate the look of the rubber, and in doing so, tried several different black paints. Krylon, for example, in their CoverMaxx line of spray paints, makes flat, semi-flat, matte, semi-matte, satin, semi-gloss, and gloss. Really - 7 different blacks? I wrote to Krylon and they recommended either the matte or satin, and they were kind enough to send me 2 cans of each as free samples. Matte ended up being the correct choice, and there really were some very noticeable differences between the different blacks.
