thanks for the help.i already wet sanded from 1000 to 2000 but not best results..the only thing i didnt do is sand them for 20min..
i think the main problem is that i sanded the inside??
sand then paint. if it comes out with bad orange peel, sand with the 2000 and polish. test the clear and plastic compatibility first though on a corner or something. this is all pretty easy man.
will set ya back like $5. worth a shot.
i think ima give it a shot for my last resort...regular clear coat right???from a spray can??
Just pickup the lenses as everyone has stated and update the thread with pics.

There is some sort of film on the inside, once you've messed it up there is honestly probably no way of returning it to even decent condition. One of my lenses is spidercracked in a small section, I will probably either end up getting the ebay replica's or upgrade to 06+ HID's down the road.

Good luck OP.
first time ive herd that there is some sort of film in the inside??hmmm yeah thats were i f*** up.. but hey..no turning back right, what has been done has been done..i sure learned from my mistakes..and i hope this helps any one else...
thanks for your advice..
and good luck with your lights.
The thing you need to solve your problem is a real buffer or a really high speed drill and some good 3m buffing compound. Just take the lenses by some local body shops and ask them how much they will charge you to finish wets anding them and buff them out. It will most likely be cheaper than a new set of lenses and will turn out nice. Wish i was local id do it for you. Just need someone thats good at wetsanding and buffing paint. Good luck!
yeah maybe a body shop can do it?? i got the mothers power ball and bought 3m rubbing compound and buff it with a corded heavy duty drill...and still not what i want..
I just hit a deer today and it busted the tabs on my headlight. It screwed my car up pretty bad but i think i can give it to you cause im going to need a new headlight light anyway. Ill keep you updated. Theirs nothing wrong with the lens, its not cracked or anything. Its the driver side lens by the way.

Follow overZealous1 instruction. I have fixed a few headlights (not perfect but better than it current condition) that way if not ask me about outside lens. I know I have a few lying around.

Have you been able to fix damage on the inside of the lens?
