Default Shine Auto Nismo & Amuse side skirts

Anyone have pictures of how the Shine Nismo and Amuse side skirts mount to the Z? Specifically I am curious about the 5 holes directly beneath the door. I am wondering whether Shine's side skirts use a blind-assembly clip+grommet like the OEM 350z skirts, or if there are thru holes which allow for regular screw-type rivets which can be tightened from the outside.

I know both side skirts are potentially different so input from owners of each one will be appreciated. Thanks!

^ ^ Very nice! Doesn't answer the question though.....what I really need is a picture of the car with the door open, so that I can see how the skirt mounts to the 5 holes that are in the car's side rail directly below the door. Can't see it with the door closed!

I was able to mount mine using screws that went directly into the oem female clip things that are on the "receiving" end. They just kinda bit into the plastic and screwed in after a little elbow grease.

Looks pretty clean, in my opinion.

Otherwise, you could always use zinc washers and wood screws (cough)

btw on the pic above, the combo looks great, always wondered how well it would pair.

Are you referring to the Nismo or the Amuse sides? Also based on your description it sounds like the side skirt has thru-holes that allow you to insert a fastener from the outside, unlike the OEM skirts which is a complete "blind" assembly (i.e. can't see the fasteners from the outside).

I got shine auto nismo side skirts and rear addons. The side skirts come with marked holes that need to be drilled. They lined up just fine for the top and bottom sides. I had to buy plastic rivets for the holes by the door sills.

Here's mine.

Finally the answer to the question Thanks man. Any fitment issues in general with the Shine sides? I've heard they are pretty much perfect. Great looking Z by the way.

I did my own install and brought them to paint shop. I had to file down a few spots to make them fit nice. I also had to put 3 screws along the door sill area to make the side skirt flush with the door step. Fitment is pretty good. I don't why but Shine Auto Nismo side skirts weren't designed to use OE clips (by the door sill). I had to take all the clips out and used plastic rivets to hold the side skirts. I wish I could have bought the authentic Nismo sides; however, they are discontinued when I tried to order them. However, I was lucky enough to get the authentic 06-08 Nismo front lip. Hope it helps.

And thanks for the compliment.

my amuse sides from shine dont use the holes on the top side of the sideskirt. Just the five on the bottom where it attaches to the underside, the ones where it attaches to the fender wells, and one on top in the door sill (the one on the back side towards the rear of the door sill)

^I got the matte black fiberglass. I'd recommend getting CF. These are the only good pics I have so far. I'll take more pics tomorrow.
