I had a bunch of chips on my new V2.. I may go see if they can get a clear bra after I repaint it.

clear bra is the way to go because you will eventually get a chip no matter what you do...unless you don't drive the car

Most of your solutions are unavoidable to most, I know in my case, the only viable defense of the ones you listed above is avoiding following trucks. Those things are the devil!

Just drive your car , enjoy driving your car and have fun driving it. My front end is trashed , but man the last 50k miles have been fun.

I think if I ever get a body kit I will Clear Bra it but for now I will just live with rock chips.
