Hey guys, looking at getting a zed. Just looking through pictures immensely on the internet, jsut wanted to know what is this comaprtment for in the 350z. in the 03-05 models, it was this one, and then it was changed in 2006 +.
1 - is from 2006 350z
2 - 2004 350z

Also while i at it... i knoe the 2003-04 350z; the cubby hole, it slides up.

In the 2006+ zed's, does the cubby hole lid just FLIP UP?

The compartment in the 03-05 is just a change holder.

In the 06-08 it's a cup holder and its also got a little slot for change.

The only cubby that slides up is the 03. Every other cubby just flips up. The sliding/hiding one is alot more flimsy feeling. I love my 06 flipping cubby.

hmm ok, about the cubby hood... Isnt it annying when it flips up???? Also can anyone upload a picture please. Ok, so if its jsut a cup holder and a coin slot.. where are the cup holders (if any) in the earlier zed's?

 

the earlier ones had one on the passenger side the new ones dont they have bottle holders on the doors

 

earlier Z's have a two cup holder removable unit in a lift up compartment a little father back (farther back meaning more like exactly between the seat backs) from where you circled the coin holder....

On the 2006+ cars, they are extra cup holders if you use the plastic divider. Coincidentally theres also 2 more cup holders just behind that between the seats. And then another 1 each on the doors. 6 cup holders in a car that seats 2.
