just curious, but how much is the nissan mirror with the compass? I thought around 200-300, but it has homelink in it, judging by you being in a garage, it may have been worth it.

I'm pretty sure that is a Gentex Mirror (2nd one down). Great job. Was it hard to install?

EDIT: Just realized he has a Touring model (according to profile) so I removed my "Base model" theory.

no no, that is understandable on why he would replace it.

I have the base z model and its only $130 compare to $272 and no temp display from courtesy. Also I prefer to have temp display all the time here at Chicago since it gets cold in the winter and I hate to switch between digital speedo and temp display on the pod. Installation was pretty easy, just make sure u get the wedge mount one then u can just take out the original mirror and slide the new one in and tap the power off the front cigarette lighter and run the temp sensor wire all the way next to the factory temp sensor.
