Default Exterior door handle issue

Came out to the car today and noticed the passenger door handle was blistering. The silver plastic that covers it had raised up in a small bubble. I pressed it down and it just popped right back up. Anyone else have this issue? Options?

As in a real iron? Like I'd use to iron my clothes.

Unfortunately, the coating is peeling off. You can get them painted or order new ones.

Funny thing is, ironing it with a cloth over the plastic doesn't sound too far-fetched. Like maybe it would cause the paint to re-adhere.

or maybe it will cause the gas inside the bubble to heat up and expand, thereby expanding the bubble.
