Default Anyone know of a good quality carbon mirror?

As the title states im simply looking for a full replacement set of side mirrors for the z. Im looking for the small square style, kind of like whats on an f1 car in a dry carbon with power mirrors. Ive looked at many different sites but i cant come up with anything good quality for the z, closest I can find is stuff for ferrari and such but they run about 3 grand. I'm not looking for anything cheap like the ones you can find on ebay and I dont mind spending around 500 to 700 bucks.......for some reason Ive always hated the mirrors on the z. Anyone know of anything available?

The Craftsquares are what you are looking for but they are not available with power. Power mirrors are heavy, Craftsquares and F1 type mirrors don't have power in order to remain light.

Hey thanks alot for the quick response ( one of the reasons I love this forum ). Those look exactly like what im looking for, lol....kinda funny being around the price I was thinking of too. Now to just decide on the black or aluminum base. Probably a stupid question but are they the quality one would expect for $700?

All of our shop cars have them and we have sold a ton without any complaints so IMO the quality is great.

JGTC Carbon GT Mirror Set (Universal Part)

Carbon mirrors like those found on the JGTC NSX race car.

problem with the universals is they require you to drill into your door, and then what do you do with the area where the factory mirror is removed from?

here are some closeups of black

silver

These are both the TC-F (short stalk) version. There is also a TC-N1, which has the longer stalk

Do they make them with the carbon in a satin or matte finish?

no, you would need to have a body shop spray it with a matte clear
