I tried to search, sorry if this has been covered somewhere... I tried the general paint code in google as well looking around and found nothing.
I have read a lot about PPW being hard to match because it is sprayed in three stages. Is Lemans Sunset (A17) the same way? (Or all z colors for that matter?) I'm having a buddy in autobody spray my kit if I buy it and I was wondering how difficult it will be for him to match it in advance. Anyone have any knowledge about spraying this paint and how it matches?
Thanks a ton in advance, sorry again if this is covered can someone just link me to it

EDIT:: Am I over-thinking this?? When I read 3-stage does that just mean like base-color-topcoat? Or do they mean the PPW is 3 different stages of color??

It is not a tri-stage paint. However when it comes to matching the paint it all depends on how experienced your friend is. There are alot of things that can throw off the color: it could be mixed improperly, he could get too close or to far away with the gun, the air pressure could be too high or low. Even the humidity can throw off the color slightly. I don't want to give you the prepaint jitters, just giving you and your friend a heads up.

Thanks a ton for all the replies, my buddy kicks *** at spraying paint and is doing it for free for me so I will have him just do it again if it doesn't come out right lol. He will know how to fix it if something goes wrong, and if we just can't get it right I'm sure his even more experienced father will step in and lend a hand so I am not worried. Just wanted to know what I was getting into with the LS paint! Good news that it is nothing crazy
