Its just self ahesive chrome door edging you put over the existing plastic grill. You can pick it up at places like pep boys or autozone for around 5 bucks.

No need to paint anything. Just buy the self adhesive chrome door molding. Make sure it's the truck version so it will fit. Buy two because each one only comes in two pieces and the grill has 3 lines you gotta fill up with the molding.
