Default Anyone seen this front lip before???

Found this on ebay. Its made by a company called Key Composites Group. I was wondering if this is a replica of some exotic lip I have never seen before or their own design? Anyone have any pictures of this lip on a Z? I remember reading on my350z that another member thought KCG quality was horrible. Quality aside I think it would flow quite nicely with the shine CF rear diffuser I'd like to order. Def would like to see it in on a car though. Anyone have any insight?

Looks a lot like the Kaminari front lip. It just don't have the wings on the sides.

Purely eyeballing it, the radius looks way too tight to fit well. Look at the photo of the Z and see how flat/straight the front end is and look how rounded the lip is. I may be wrong, but it looks like fitment could be a monster.

Just make sure you dont get the one in the pic that's on the bathroom floor.

Last things you need are bad fittment and dry pee on your lip.

^ Thanks, thats what i heard as well

I got a PM from them today actually and the design is from an old mastergrade lip which KCG bought the molds for. I can't say that helped me find a picture of a Z with this front lip.

Buy Seibon, Veilside, or MINE'S.

There's my recommendation.

i believe the image that the OP posted look very very similar (aka modified replica) to the first generation DAMD Styling Effect 350z front lip... that front lip had 'fins' on the side

Interesting post Chebosto -- never even heard of DAMD before. You clearly know your body pieces, have you even seen a mastergrade lip that looks like this, I searched and I cant seem to find one, just replicas they make of other companies designs.

From what I have heard, Key composites buys the old molds from companies. Problem with that is you may have fitment issues because a mold is only good for a certain amount of time/uses.

The guys on here are nice guys though from what I have seen.

Yeah it looks alot like the DAMD front lip. A tad bit too aggressive IMO. It sticks out too much.

Thanks for the kind words! Like a lot of other composite companies out there, we make sure that our molds are as up to date and fresh as possible to avoid issues!
