Default Headlights!

Anyone have a preferred brand/company that they buy headlights from? I want that really nice blueish white color and I can never seem to find a bulb that suits my needs.

Anyone have this on their car already and know of a brand or product that will achieve that blueish white?

Don't do that. 1: it will significantly decrease your visibility at night, 2: it will look stupid because everyone will know it's not hid, and 3: the road will be colored blue and fatigue your eyes faster, as well as glare more for the oncoming traffic due to the color. I mean, that's something that Honda owners do. Do you really want to do that to such a nice car? Why would you want that in the first place?

I think the reason I'd want that is because I hate that yellowish white color you get from stock headlights. Thats really the only reason. I want nice and WHITE light not that yellow tinted crap

I thought you meant you wanted your light output to be blue...

Anyway, if you want a white bulb that has at least the same visibility as stock, get these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OSRAM...Q5fAccessories

I believe the Z uses an H7 low beam bulb, but make sure first.

Their output is the whitest that you can get without losing visibility with a blue-tinted bulb. They are equivalent to about 4000K, where standard HID's are about 4500, and your stock bulbs are 3500. I've been running them in my Mazda6 for a year now, and they work very well. No additional visibility in my car, but much whiter than the stock yellow bulbs. That's the worst case scenario. You might actually get more output than stock on your car. They are only available overseas and are made by the German division of Sylvania/Osram. Don't confuse them with the crappy Sylvania Silverstar bulbs that you can buy here. These Nightbreakers won many comparison tests with other bulbs.

Anyway, for as cheap as they are, you can afford to try them out. I got my H1 pair for $25 including shipping. That's actually cheaper than Silverstar Ultras that you can buy here, and they blow them out of the water.

I bought a pair of HALO brand from ebay, they're direct from japan. They are H7 bulbs with I believe 7000k output, I haven't installed them yet but the example photo shows a light bluish tint to them. Alittle pricy $60, but a good pair of Sylvania's are 45+ tax. I've asked around and everyone tells me that HALO's are the best around as far as light emission and visibility. I'll get back to the forum when I install them.

7000K? They must have a heavy blue tint on them. I can guarantee you that visibility will suck compared to stock. I never understood why people want everything on the road to be colored blue with some fake hid bulbs. That **** messes with your eyes and makes you look like an idiot.
