Does anyone know if there are halogen bulb upgrades available for the "clearence bulbs" located under the H7 bulbs in the headlight housing? I upgraded to sylvania silverstar H7s but there is still some yellow light visible from the stock "clearence bulb"

 

The bulbs under the H7's are the High Beams. They use H1 bulbs, and there are many different replacement bulbs out there. You can also buy replacement "wedge" bulbs for the tiny bulbs on the outside. I have the PIAA LED wedge bulbs, and they look great.

How do you install these, do you need to take the bumper off to get to them ,ect?

 

No, you need to take off the front fender liners in the wheel well and you'll have access to the backside of the headlight housing to put the bulbs in.

 

How do you rate sylvania silverstar H7s after the upgrade? Do they stand up to the claim "HID look" from driver seat or just the outside?
