Default Had to get windshield replaced. New one has sun strip

I had to get my windshield replaced and the new one they installed was identical except it was not OEM, and it has a sunstrip that kind of has that blue stuff on it. I'm not quite sure if I like it or not. Is there any way to get that stuff removed?

In the past, windshields always had the darker strip across the top. I doubt there is any way to remove it other than replacing the windshield. The sun strips are usually sandwiched between the layers of glass.
