Question Colgan Custom Bra question

Just got and installed the Colgan Custom Bra. I like it but am confused about 2 hooks that do not seem to attach anywhere. There is a rubber-coated on both sides of the bra where it attaches to the wheel well. Does anyone know where these hook to?

Many thnaks ...

I had the same problem. No instructions in those things - WTF.
Basically the only point I saw to hook it were the areas where the wheel wells screw into the fender. They are on the outside edge above the bumper seam. There a clip there where you can somewhat snugly connect it. Good luck.

The small hooks attaches to the small plate inside of your wheel fender. If you face the fender opening it is at 11:00 position. I was at Colgan yesterday and they test fitted their bra on my 04 Roadster. They also took quite a few pics to show where it is hooked on to too. Contact Colgan and have them email you the pics. Good luck.

Default Got it!

Thanks for the advice! It is a very snug fit. I found where the hooks attach. There really is only one area inside the wheel well where it can attach. I really like the bra and the fit is nice.

How about for the hood piece... is this where you place the hooks ? I have read on other threads that the hood piece was very hard to install. Not in my case unless I'm using the wrong holes.

Talking Hood Hooks

You are using the wrong holes. In the picture over you want to use that big Oval shapped one. Basically you need to strech the cord and hook over there. That will make it a tight snug fit

Thanks. That's what I thought... and I agree with everyone that it is hard to install at first.

PS. I purchased it at StrictlyZ...
