Default Opening Front Reflectors?

Planning on doing an LED retro fit on the front reflectors, but can't seem to be able to open them. I've tried the heat gun and the oven method used for opening the headlights, but that damn glue is really tough. I've already messed one of the reflectors up when I left in the oven to long, but even at that the glue didn't get soft enough for me to open the reflector. I'm using spare parts, so I haven't messed up the ones in my Z. Anyone here have any ideas or mayhave already opened their reflectors?

I just used a very small flathead screwdriver and pried them open. Technically I left some of the amber area attached but it was so small that it didnt matter and they sealed again just fine.

^ Didn't think this work, since the orange plastic is hard and doesn't seem flexiable. I would think you would crack the orange plastic if you tried this.

Hey Thanks, bit the bullet and tried your method and it was easier than I thought. I got the thinnest flathead screwdriver, placed the tip between the orange plastic and the gray backing and carefully pushed in and I heard a little snap where the orange plastic seperated and continued all around. It was a snap, thanks a lot, now I just got to see if I can retro fit some leds, as soon as I get the whole thing figured out I'll post a DIY
