Take them out first! It takes 10 mins and you don't have to mask the car!

Just a suggestion

I took my car to the tint shop and they put dark overlays on them and only charged $15 apiece. Granted, while they are mostly black, you can still see some of the amber underneath (up close and in sunlight) but considering how cheap the job was and that I didn't have to go through the trouble of removing the bumper to get to them, spray paint, etc., I'm more than satisfied.

I can post pics if need be.

As stated above...Krylon Fusion plastic paint with some clear ontop works well...just clean well and spray...no sanding needed. I used a flat black.

I've been dying to black out my headlights and side markers. Is that a tint on top of the headlight or did you go through the whole oven take apart process???
