Hello fellow Z enthusiasts. I'm posting today to warn everyone to STAY CLEAR of ShowstoppersUSA. I have been waiting nearly 2 years for Seibon 10mm fenders I ordered through Chuck at ShowstoppersUSA. I have since moved on to a new project vehicle, my Z. To this day I'm still getting the run around from Chuck, that is when he decides to not screen my calls.

I ordered a set of Sti 10mm wider fenders back in 2007, they arrived nearly 4 weeks later with damage, and were denied at the time of delivery. I was told I needed to wait for the carriers claim to go through, which was OK. So fast forward to early 2008, I get an e-mail from the carrier stating they concluded the claim and issued a refund to ShowstoppersUSA. I have YET to see a dime of my money back or a replacement set of fenders....this was nearly 2 years ago ! Everytime I ask for a refund or my new parts they act as if they have no idea what I'm talking about !


So be warned 350z members, STAY CLEAR OF SHOWSTOPPERSUSA THEY ARE A BUNCH OF LIARS AND THIEVES !

 

I just want to point out that your thread title tells me TO buy from them.

So I shouldn't not buy from showstoppers right? wonderful first post btw. Do you even have a Z?

 

yep, I do have a Z now I recently sold the Sti.

I believe serveral people in this site had problems with this vendor before.

They were dumped as vendors here for that exact kind of garbage.

 

Did you think of telling them you wanted your money back after, say, 6 months?

 

total epic faill by showstoppers.... it was just a e-hog bubble 350z shop that its now gladly gone.

 

Oh believe me, I have been asking for my money back long before the carrier even mentioned Showstoppers was refunded. I couldn't tell you how many empty promises I was given before they decided to just ignore my calls.

I would have filed a chargeback a year ago, but my credit card was stolen 3-4 months after the transacation, leaving me SOL.

 

WOW, and I thought my wait time was long!

2 years is INSANE. I would fly out there and kick them straight in the nuts.

 

why would your credit card being prevent you from being able to issue a chargeback? DId you close your credit card account when it was stolen?

Normally they just cancel the credit card and issue you a new one....

 

dang...i ordered a hood from them about a yr ago.. it came from cali and im in alabama..only took a few days...i guess i got lucky!
