Smile Aluminum pedals installation tip!

I just installed my new aluminum kickplates and aluminum pedal set.

I read previous threads on the installation and the typical 20 min. to install the brake and clutch covers.

Well, I soaked my covers in hot water for 5 min. ( I´m not sure they soften that much but one looses nothing in doing it)

For the installation of the clutch and brake pads I helped the installation by using a small flat head screw driver with wich I pulled the corners of the pads ( back) against the corners of the pedal . I did both in 7 or 8 mins. the whole set in less than 15 to 20 min.

If you use the small srew driver to help the installation its not too diff. at all.

I hope this tip helps others in their inslallation.

Those pedals do look great!!!!!

Yoyo great tips, I wish I’d read this post before I installed mine. It took me an hour before I figure it out let a hair dryer heat it up for 30sec will make the work a lot easier.
