Default headlight lens help

ok like an idiot about a year ago i put the overlay on my headlights then i noticed stress cracks caused by the insulating heat so i finally took em off today because i want to do the blacking and removing the amber strip in the 03-05 lights..my question is it possible to sand those stress cracks or buff them out they are very small but all over the place it looks like crap now or where can i just get the plastic case to the headlights

I noticed the same thing today, only I never had any film on damnit. I am having a shop look at it on tuesday and have them do a headlight lens restoration, hopefully the cracks wont be so noticable after that.

I heard if you start with a low grit sandpaper first and work your way up you can get rid of the stress cracks on the outside.. mine look like they have some on the inside, I am just hoping the shop can work some magic on the outside because they are also hazy as a ****.

Like Alvin said you are going to have to buy new/used full lights and use the lens. You won't just find the lens anywhere unless you get extremely lucky..

Buying those cheap *** ebay lights is a bad idea. The lights will probably fog up after a couple months and look horrible.
