The silver paint or overlay on my exterior door hands is bubbling up. 4 bubbles on the passenger door and 1 bubble on the drivers door.. I looked online for replacement door handles with no luck. Has this happenned to any one else. Il post pics this afternoon.

I've never heard of anyone having this problem. You can take it to a dealer and see if they'll replace them if your Z is still under warranty.

 

seen it happen on a friends 2003 z...paint will chip off sooner or later.. you can get them repainted or get CF covers for them.

 

He's talking about bubbling though, not chipping.

 

Most shops will sand down for door handles and paint them for roughly $100...

 

My passengers side door has the same problem (bubbling up). Not a huge deal since I was looking to remove them or have them painted black.
