Default Question about installing a 05 Touring OEM spoiler on a 03 Touring

Hey guys, I just bought a 05 touring edition spoiler for my 03 touring. I was wondering after reading through some threads, installing the spoiler shouldn't going to be complicated at all. From what I'm hearing all I have to do is drill a hole from underneath the trunk first basically where a large hole is located then smaller indent circle is located within the larger hole. Afterward drill from the top and just drop the spoiler on it. I was wondering is this basically how it supposes to be install, also which hole do I drill into? I know someone said the hole is already there, but there’s so many hole on there. I attached some picture to help verify the hole, sorry I'm at work so only had my cell phone for a camera.

I purchased the Track model spoiler and installed it with double-sided tape only and it held just fine.

If your spoiler doesn't come with mounting screws, don't worry about drilling through the hatch.

My wing came off of a 05 Z and it's OE so mounting screws are on there and a lot of work to take off. So I'll have to screw it in. I don't mind drilling hole in the trunk, I can always by a new trunk, but if I can do it right the first time I prefer that, hehe. From the installation instruction. This looks like the right hole.

No worries, just line it up and see if the holes match and it they don't drill away.

The 96030Q spoiler has 4 attachment points. 2 grommets plus 2 nuts. See: http://www.courtesyparts.com/350z-pa...5_871_872.html

That's correct. The OE spoiler I have also have 4 attachment. 2 center grommets and 2 screws on the side. I've read that people just screw the side and use 3M double tape all around and on where the center gromets located. So I'm not going to drill 4 holes. I just want to make sure when I drill from the bottom that it's the right hole everyone talking about.
