Question Question: Why is Hebi Bebi so popular?

Can someone explain to me the appeal of a Hebi Bebi shift **** and the rationale for dropping $250+ hard earned dollars on a piece of metal?

Is it the brand image?
Is it because everyone on this thread loves the ****?

It's not because it's weighted, that's not a rational excuse. You can get a weighted **** for $40....

I looked these up since I've never heard of them, I don't like the looks of it, there's no way in Hell I'd spend that kind of money on a shift ****.

Because it's JDM as f*ck lol. But seriously, the conversation has been had, it's no different than buying a pair of Oakley sunglasses. It's a brand thing, it took me a while to fork over the cash for one but I did lol.

Damn, that's the heaviest one I've seen.

I'd say it's more of a brand image thing than anything else. It's not exactly the most ergonomic or practical ****, and certainly not of best value (cost-wise, not intrinsic worth). I'll take my TWM **** over it any day.

I've had 2 different kinds of TWM *****, I like them a lot but IMO they don't look as good as the TK.

It's a combo of weight, elegant look (in my opinion), and exclusivity. I had a ball **** with a 3" extender that I LOVED the feel of, but my interior is too bland for that kinda "drifter look".

2nd in performance in my opinion was a $25 delrin one from ebay that looked like a *****. As pictured but white.

I have had 6 shift ***** in my Z and the TK has stood the test of time. I would love to try some others and make some money off it, but until my interior gets spiced up with seats or JDM as F**K stickers, I don't think I'll find one that feels as good and is classy.

Plus, substitute "Globo Gym" for "TK owners club" in the Dodgeball picture
