I am thinking of getting a CF lip for my '07 Daytona Blue Z. There are three that I am kind of interested in.

1. Veilside V1
2. Nismo
3. Top Secret

Any suggestions on which one of these looks the best? Or does anyone have any pictures of these lips?

Also, Where can you buy these? I can't find the Nismo one anywhere in CF. The Top Secret one I've only been able to find on Bulletproofautomotive.com. And the Veilside V1 I can find in a few places. Anyone know the best place to buy any of these?

Also, it looks like these just bolt to the same holes that hold on the oil pan underbody cover? Any issues with fitment? Do they fit snug against the bumper in the front, or is there double sided tape on them?

Top Secret IMO... I have the CF Veilside V1 on my DB. I do love it but would rather have had the Top Secret... just couldn't fork over that much cash. I THINK that Seibon or someone makes a Nismo replica in CF but Nismo never made one in CF as far as I know.

 

The top secret lip is rare and clean. If you can get your hands on one, get it.

 

Is this the Nismo front lip? I'm TOLD it's CF but I can't tell.

I really like it and I can't find where to buy this. Anyone know where I can get it?

If you dont plan on going with aftermarket sideskirts and rear bumper veilside or mines are great. Very subtle and looks great with stock sides/rear! Everyone will say ''everyone has em blah blah'' but theres a reason why lol.

Thanks for all the feedback. I like the Top Secret one a LITTLE bit better. But for the extra price, and the fact I have to drop it for every oil change...I went with the Veilside V1 in Carbon Fiber. Ordered from IntensePower. Do you guys know if they stock these or if they order them from Japan and shipped from there first? I am just trying to determine about what time this will show up or what kind of wait I'll have. I want to get it on before the first snow and I garage the Z lol.

I just got my lip and the instructions said I had to clear coat the lip. Is that true? It appears to be cleared but I don't know for sure.

Also, this thing does not hold itself on the bumper by just those four screws under the bumper does it? Do I need to find some double sided tape?

 

I'm about to order mine, too. Does anyone know the answer for the above question?

You need a strip of double side on the top or some sikoflex (dont know if you have that in the states!) My veilside seemed to have clearcoat on it...

 

u need double sided tape and yes cf has clearcoat so you don't have to clear coat it again

 

It's my car. It's 06-08 Nismo Lip painted black (not CF). Unfortunately, 06-08 Nismo lip had been discontinued, but 03-05 lips are still available.
