Default Can a console of a 2006 fit into a 2004???

I just bought a 2004 and it's in prefect condition with almost no miles on it at all....
I dont like the console too much and would like to put a 2006 console in it instead.
Can i do this? (without a whole lot of mods)
I just want to be able to bolt it in and have an exact replacement.
Is this possible?

I am not 100% sure but I have heard that it can be done as long as you replace all 3 pieces from the triple gauges to the armrest. But I am not sure how to incorporate the knee pad from the '06. I don't think the '03-'05 had that.

Search a little bit, I know I have seen it discussed in several threads.

I did it, its pretty simple...you need the top part with the gauges, the radio, the 2 little panels where the pads are, the shifter piece, and the lower center part in between the seats. If you have the navigation its a little more involved, you need to replace the navi screen (not certain, but it sits higher so maybe), and the navi controller.
I used a non navi 06 in my 03 navi, it uses a different set up so I had to modify stuff to fit but it works for now (till I can get my hands on the other parts I need)

Oh, one more thing... you need the A/C controller that sits behind the A/C controls.
