New pics on new look...
Took some pics on the weekend.... the car is with full nismo body kits now instead of mixing kits together.... also went to Japan to buy the nismo rubber lower lip for the front bumper, it looks quite different from other nismo Zs around....
Also the rear tyres are now 255/45/18 SO-2 instead of the RE series.
Enjoy the pics...
ps. sorry about the weather, I cannot help that!
cheers,
richie

Very nice. I love the clean, simple look of the Nismo kit. The factory Rays rims look very well balanced with that body kit. Out of curiosity, did you install rim spacers to push them out a little? They don't seem to be so tucked in as I'm used to seeing. Very nice.
Overall, I wouldn't change a thing. I disagree with folks who say you should lower it and put 19" rims on it. Your car looks properly balanced as it is. 18" rims with that body kit and the stock ride height is perfect.

I do run 15mm spacers all around, that's why those rays wheels look a bit outwards than others!

your car is simply elegant---balanced yet subdued . plus i like the greyday photos.
it looks beautiful with the track wheels and i agree that it is so well integrated that you dont need to change anything.
i chose to go the volk route on my SB track and while i love the gt7s i also miss the tracks (while gratified that one of our forum buds has them on a SB now)

Ah... that explains it! I like the factory Rays rims, but I've never liked the way most factory rims always have big offsets that pull them in. With your spacers, the rims fit very nice. I see no need to replace them unless you want substantially wider tires. Very nice!
On that note, is a 15mm spacer safe? I have no personal experience with spacers, but I'm only used to reading about people getting a few millimeters here and there. 15mm seems like a lot!

As to the spacers... well.... 15mm isn't that wide because I still have a set of 25mm at home that I am not using at the moment!
They look even wider!! But unfortunately that my server is down at the moment, I cannot be able to upload any pictures.... Here is what I have got...
No spacer will look like this:

Thank you for the georgeous pics of your car!
It`s hard to tell if there are spacers on these pics or not,i think 25mm spacers are the way to go.
After seeing the pics i`m happy again that i ordered a silverstone, and this after ten years wanting a bright silver car....
Btw,what do you think about the european bumper?Your number-plate should fit......

25mm spacers?? Wow! So let me ask this: how do those stock Rays rims with 15mm spacers compare to something like the Volk rims that are 8.5"x22mm offset front and 9.5"x22mm offset rear? Do they come out to about the same point? (I'm too lazy to make a diagram and do the math right now.)

I think they come out to the same point, or actually with 25mm spacers, there might be a bit more....
okay.... I shouldn't really use my work's server space.... but in order to please you guys... here are the pics of 25mm spacers at the rear and the type of spacers I use (same as 15mm ones)...
cheers,
richie
