No, I don't think superglue would be sufficient. The only suggestion I can come up with is to get a hole drilled and tapped in your "destroyed" key. Maybe dremel the engaging surfaces to look more like the Rogue key (NOT THE KEYS NOTCHES!) Of course, if it were me, I would have bought a blank Rogue key and had it cut to match my Z key then reprogrammed/switched chips.

Make 2 holes, get another similarly sized screw, and make another mounting spot. To make the mounting spot, get some kind of plastic like epoxy maybe? I know there is some plastic equivalent of JB weld......... Make a little mound of the epoxy and start the hole a little bit. Then when you screw the screw in, it will cut its own thread.
Maybe if you posted a pic of the inside of the key I could tell the clearances a bit better...

ahh best 19.99 i've spent all month! key was purchased from a.suntek on ebay. shipping time is estimaed at 14-21 days but it arrived in 10. i must say, im quite impressed with the quality. the install was super easy--15 minutes tops(5 minutes for transferring circuit board/battery and 10 to get the transponder out). home depot cut the key for free, as they only charge u for purchasing the blank when making copies.
only issue is that i can't get any sort of key ring through the bottom to attach the rest of my keys to. otherwise couldn't be happier!

Yes, much more lighter and portable!
I didn't want to spend $80 on new Rogue Key so i bought a cut used one for like $10.
Then i hacked my existing key and glued it in there with a plastic weld/epoxy.

Yes, but to justify this i say to myself, in order to open the hatch you need to walk up to the car anyways to lift it open (since its not automatic in our cars)...so giving up the button wont be a big deal anyways

I just recieved mine in the mail from a.suntek. Can't wait to get it installed tonight.
Updated: Got turned down by Home Depot & Lowe's, so decided to take it to Locksmith. The guy did it in 2min for free. The key looks nice and solid.
Thanks everyone.
