Lightbulb Looking for rear CF diffuser simliar to 350Z (see picture)

I always loved the look of this rear diffuser and have been searching on Ebay and other car forums for something to work with for a new project I've been debating.

I need something that is roughly 30" wide and has the center opening in mesh and some fins for the rear diffuser although I can build that part if necessary.

Any suggestions? I've seen some body kits (aftermarket) but now can't think of which cars...

Prefer not to buy the F430 piece since its $$$$$ but I remember seeing some 350Z that had a similiar rear valence piece?

thanks in advance!

You know, I am really surprised that no one has mad a simple diffuser with those fins. The EVO's and STI's have them:

It seems like it would be a popular exterior mod if the price was right and it was somewhat functional. Instead of those little fake diffusers that do nothing but looks.

Most likely the main problem is the gabizzilion different muffler options that may limit to who can buy it.

this might not help but have you looked at the chargespeed rear bumper in half carbon fiber..unless your talking about building a complete rear diffuser your self.

Muffler options are not really an issue if you design it correctly. The ts diffuser for instance fits many exhaust, and with slight modification wil fit most.

This is the answer, imo, without going too overboard.

Linking to a cell phone pic (and this isn't the CF version, it's painted K11) but you get the idea.

I thought we are talking about diffusers, not bumpers?

^^ The piece I posted attaches under the rear bumper and incorporates a rear diffuser.

I was actually trying to remember the name of that diffuser. The problem with that diffuser is that they only designed it for single mid pipe exhausts. I have not seen anyone with that diffuser on this forum. It is one of the best looking IMO, but the design for the exhaust limits it, especially for the price.

Now if someone made a design similar to that, but made it more open like the top secret, I believe that would be a winner. Also it would have to have a price tag under 800.00.

If you are really looking for a project, try this one from Abflug. Might need a custom exhause or cut holes for oem. I have no clue on the fitment for a 350z. I'm sure it would look sweet though.

EDIT: found a photoshop I did a while ago

Link?

I think the point of this thread was that the OP wanted to possibly even create one similar to the Ferrari as far as the fins and mesh center are concerned.
