Default Z badge question

Just wondering if anyone has replaced their "Nissan" badge with the "Z" one from Courtesy Nissan.

How hard was the install? Is it removed by the heatgun/floss or does it have mounting posts behind the badge?

thanks

Hard to get the stock one off......spent lots of time with the hair dryer. There are 3 "nipples" on the bumper which the badge "straddles." Move the hair dryer around and get the glue soft all the way around the badge before trying to get under it. A thin plastic scraper is the best idea for getting under it, and try to get under the middle bar of the Nissan burger first (as the Courtesy badge will cover any scratches you might make, if you're not careful enough).

Good luck and enjoy the new look!

Thanks MSOsr

I was wondering if there were anything else behind the badge like a post or pin. Just ordered set but has not come in yet, and did not want to screw anything up. Good call on starting in the middle.

As long as there are no "clips" holding the posts behind the badge, I think I should be Ok.

Default Kaminari

Michael, I see you have the Kaminari kit. I am looking for a decent price/dealer for the Kaminari wing/spoiler. Any insight? Thanks. Regards, Jim

Jim:

I got mine through MBAutoSport. Check their phone number at mbautosport.com

They promise the lowest price. Dicker with them.
