I would go with the gloss the flat just doesnt look right. Makes it look kind of cheap IMO

Was done by someone on this forum and it looks great.

I say go full flat/satin. Then sand the tail lights so there red again. Maby if you just sand them instead of buying new ones they will have a flat finish to. Just make sure you only sand into one direction so there not swirly.That would be way sick.
