yeah maybe, but seems to totally cover the turn signal, which is not safe or legal.

I shy away from plastic coverings, just looks cheap to me.

evo-R chose to make their headlight coverings from ABS plastic, thats pricey, if they did it again... well I wouldnt blame them for not doing it, gotta make a lot to turn a profit.

Makes the car look girly and as though she's fluttering her long eyelashes at you.

they are making a CF version of the RSW eyelids...i told him to try and make it meaner with the "eyebrow" look

lets see what he says.....i understand how you can think its rice...but i like it..and the ones that they make for the BMW are really nice and thats the look im trying to get

why do people say "makes it look like a celica" with that negative talk towards celicas? i am not trying to defend celicas, but its funny how just because the celica is a weaker car and less expensive, people wouldnt want their cars to have anything to do with the celica in general.

personally, i think the headlights on the Z and Celica look fairly similar, but thats just because they're both tall headlamps and fully sealed. If you put that aside, they really dont have any similarities. Putting an eyelid on the Z headlamp doesnt make it look more celica-ish, just makes it look like the car has more useless fiberglass junk.

those headlamp lids are so overkill and do nothing more than interfere with the light output from the headlamps. if you're gonna modify your lamps, modify the lamps.. dont spend money on aimless modifications that take 2 seconds for someone to steal.

your point is valid, but generally with modifications your trying to differentiate your car from the pack, not make your car look like a different car.

that doesnt mean I think it looks like a celica, just perhaps what some others are thinking.

personally I think it just isnt needed... but thats just me.

Actually it is not made by metal molding. It was made with Strong reenforced FRP molding. This can be done only for flexible ABS items.

old-s13....your point is valid...and believe it or not i agree with it

i own and love my Z...and dont want to make it something that its not

thats why i dont believe in putting full bumpers on....although i do like to look at them and think they are beautiful

the front lips and side underwings and other small add ons have draw backs as well as benefits....on one hand you may say "dont you think a 30k car deserves more than just little add ons"

but someone else (like me) may say that it enhances the car and makes it different (which is the main purpose)

threads about body pieces usually stir people up and start making them "upset"...i didnt say you have to put it on your car...but cant you see how it can be nice

basically the questions should be like this.."if the Z's body came stock with the eyelids ,,can you see how they may be nice"

in that case the headlights and hood would have been made to that shape... which is just a higher quality job.

any modification is good, but the best ones are those that are done well. sadly a plastic brow over the headlight tends to look cheesy or cheap. while if someone was to go in and redesign the headlight and hood for the new shape, it might be considered incredably attractive.

see the distinction? 2 ways of reaching the same conclusion. ones just cheaper than the other, and to some including me, it looks it.

the eyelid will be CF and my hood is also CF...unfortunately i dont have the money to take the alternative route

but then think about this....have a special hood fabricated for $$$

or have a iexpensive CF eyelid

they both virtually look the same

and if i can live with the fact theni guess its ok

this is a very funny site...and i say funny because after a while you want to please the people on this forum more than yourself

this time...sorry guys....if the eyelid looks bad it comes off...but i think it will look good

HIGH HOPES
