that antenna is nice, but like stone z, i also prefer the look of the stock antenna. i am keeping my options open, but havent seen any that i really like. the other scary thing is that if you buy an expensive one, then someone can unscrew it and walk off with it... or you can take it off everytime you leave your car which is kind of a pain. that is why i dont put a jack in the box 49ers head on my antenna.

If you like the look of the stock one, but want something shorter - pull the cap off your OE one, cut the thin fiberglass part to the length you want, then recap w/adhesive. I did this and shortened it to 7". So I still have he OE look, only shorter. Reception is fine in Atlatna where I live, but some of the weaker stations get static when traveling. Best part...it's free.

Mine only cost $9.00 off EBAY. There was a small gap where it screws in but a 33 cent rubber grommet from the plumbing department at home depot made it look great!
