I just installed this cool short antenna! It is all metal and gets great reception...What do you think?

That looks really cool.

Do you think the reception is really as good as the full length stock antenna? I would really like the look of the short antenna, but I do listen to radio so I don't want to give up reception.

(I know some people barely ever listen to radio and stick with recorded music. )

I wish someone would just make a cap or something that just closes up the hole. I never listen to the radio and would just assumed lose the entire atennae.

All the others I've seen look retarded to me for some reason sans the billet one that's floating around.

 

just buy a bolt and paint the top black. add a rubber washer and BAM, super shorty antenna. Then again, you won't get radio

I saw it for sale on ebay. I think its from germany.

 

I have a similar one, but it is about 6-8 inches, I'll take pics tommarrow. Just look on egay guys, their are about 5-6 shorty antennas for the Z available. Mine was 8.99 Buy It now.
