TWM M1 Abrams..
also have one in half black resin for summer time

Have since cut the TWM short shifter down over an inch so the threads stop level w the shifter srround base....as well and added a gated shifter over the top of all this.. including a zeetoyz finisher.

After all that.. i will say... aside from look at me status, Stock **** is a very good option to retain.

Heres what i use when my TWM shifter breaks at 70mph on the FWY..

I did the same word search (shift ****) and found the same thread posted. A total of 8 pages... it was on the 7th, just sayin'...

Where did you get that little shift design sticker next to the cup holders? Ive been looking to put something there and that looks pretty neat

Oh and heres mine (TWM Type-R) I have since added a zeetoyz finisher to it also:

There was an eBay guy selling those shift plates for various cars, but he's been gone for at least a year or more. The material looks like brushed aluminum, but it's really plastic, and when the top layer is laser-engraved it reveals the black layer underneath.

I really like how this looks. Any complaints about it?

When you guys change the shift **** does changing gears or w/e feel any different?
Basically, does the **** you're using have an effect on your driving experience?

^^^
Feels like a damn science fair project now

When I changed my shift **** with the TWM Type-R, it definitely helped the notchiness of shifting into 2nd. I think it helps to get a heavier shift ****, and TWM makes some pretty darn heavy ones (mine is just barely under 1 lb I think.)

Yep. I hated it. It felt like trying to shift with a ping pong ball.

Still loving the Momo/Isotta stuff. I've got that same shift **** in 3 other cars, too (Alfa Spider's), so it's obviously a favorite, and in Italian cars it's a classic type of ****. The alcantara boots are maybe 1.5 years old, and still look like new. I really like that the setup looks OEM, only better than the cheap stuff Nissan likes to use.

A different shift setup can definitely make a big change in the way the car feels. The Momo **** is very heavy, which smooths things out, and I prefer a short shifter, but other guys may not. A shorter lever requires more force and precision than a longer one, but the trade-off is shorter throws between gears. The large round **** is nice because I can just palm it and don't even really have to grip it. I prefer to shift with my palm facing down, but others may like to have their palm facing to the left, so a more vertically-shaped **** might be better. There's no best solution.
