Rear diffuser, yay or nay? pixs inside
hey guys
well i'm on the fence on this one, i bought the diffuser a couple days ago and i don't know if i really like the look, but in some ways and angles i do. i rattle canned it black to take some pictures for you guys. it looks a bit busy in the rear..
i tried to put a poll in this thread but it isn't working for me
i just layed the diffuser ontop of the exhaust tips to hold it in place
yes i know i need wheels, i'll be buying spacers sometime soon
current look:

we have the same setup as well. sometimes I like the rear diffuser and sometimes don't.
Was thinking of getting hks hi exhaust and get the bumper tucked instead of rear diffuser.

I generally like diffusers however that particular one doesn't flow and you can tell its been tacked on.

The gap between the nismo rear flaps and the diffuser makes it look out of place...Its either just the diffuser or just the sides IMO

I like your car. I like the diffuser. I like your wheels. You don't need wheels. The stock wheels look good on your car.

I personally don't like the look of "fake" diffusers. It looks cleaner without it, otherwise it just looks cluttered.

I'm on the fence too. The diffuser itself looks good, but that gap would bother me too. I am also 2 tone and as I have stated in other post the rear bumper is the hardest part to make flow. With painting the gap it would look ok from a distance. I would still know it was there though and it would eat at me.

You may just need to modify it to better fit your exhaust. I would also get it painted gloss black to match your Nismo rears.
I turned up the contrast to get a better pic for you.

I like it with the diffuser, I think it looks more complete and paint it gloss

I like that set up with that diffuser. the gap can be corrected when it is installed..
