there are actually tons of openings in the firewall. pull the carpet back and look.
and yes, this has been discussed a million times with pictures and diagrams showing which wires to tap into for gauges and everything.
You need to decide where you are putting the temp sensor. On my first block i drilled the pan and put it in there. On my built block i have a greddy oil pan that is already tapped. I put it in there. Wires ran up the drivers side and into the gromet of the firewall in the drivers fender area. It comes out just a little to the left of the clutch pedal near the fusebox.

i searched the fi forum.i couldnt find anything.do you have any diagrams or links of where to hook up the wires for my 2 gauges??oil temp and air/fuel ratio?
for the power and dimmer there is a post somewhere. I'm not sure if it's in the FI forum or not. In the lower left kick it's a blue with red stripe wire for the dimmer. The large solid white wire is the 12+ and the large white with blue (i think blue) stripe then that is the 12v ignition wire. I'll look to see if i can find the pictures.
