you have a narrow band i believe...someone correct me if i'm wrong...i remember wiring these things up on some hondas and celicas back in the day...red goes to 12 volt source...black goes to ground...and whatever wire is left (blue...white...purple depends on brand) gets tied in with the O2 sensor signal wire

narrow bands are useless, so I am not sure how you define the 'right' kinda gauge

I believe it changed mid year 2004 from narrow band to wideband (there is a 2004.5 designation on the FSM for cars manuf later in the year).

Yes, 2004.5 and up are posi-widebands that read 0-2v, anything before that are narrow bands that read 0-1v. What do you plan to do with that gauge, just for looks? As everyone said, narrow band is pretty useless and you should opt for a wide band setup for any decent use out of it.

Hey Chad. Are you planning on using this when you go f/i? If so, don't waste your time and money. Sell it and buy a wideband. You'll want to be able to monitor your a/f ratio at partial throttle, idle, etc. and a narrowband will not do this. It is more of a rough guesstimate for wide open throttle. A narrowband is essentially a pretty, flashing light telling you a whole lotta nothing. I could go in to more detail, but there is no need at this juncture. If you need more info, PM me.
