thnx for the complements, got me nervous there for a sec..thought this post was gonna turn ugly...but is all good.
From what I understand, this mirror has a build in motor and some sort of electrical circuit inside, but I do not know how to connect it to the stock plug
The Japanese guy who got this for me emailed Ganador and the bottom line is that this mirror is automatic, but you would probably have to wire it yourself.
Im not a electrical wiz and I never adjust my mirrors anyways so I just left it.
The mirror face is "blue", meaning it reflects off bright lights from behind, like our rear view mirrors inside.
The views inside are different, the passenger side mirror is not as the way I'm used to, it points directly to the blind spot of the car, and does not show part of my own car. I'm used to it showing at least part of my car. The range of adjustment is not as wide as our stock mirror, it only enables the widest range possible that is good enough for driving. For the passenger side, the blind spot of my car is as far the mirror would go and show...that I need to get used to.
It also has a feature that it protects it self. Upon a small impact from another object, the build in springs will send the mirror backward, thus preventing it from breaking off the stand, afterwards, the springs will bring the mirror back in place. Upon a bigger impact force, the springs will break apart, seperating the mirror from the stand, thus leaving the stand, which is connected to your car, un-harmed!! the mirror could easily be repaired by fiber glass afterwards, or replaced with another one.
Everything else is okay...i drove it out last night and didn't had any problem with it. so over all, a satisifying buy for me.
