Yep. $160.00 would make a whole lot difference in paying for a house.
Good luck with that purchase. A better investment.

Are you able to get it over the V2 lip? That is what I was not able to do with mine.

V2 bumper will not be fully covered, its slightly longer than the OEM bumper so it won't work.

I had my cover for 2 years and it really got thin and flimsy from the elements, it's just not the greatest cover if you need to park outside.

I'll have to check, but I think he's right. I think it doesn't cover the lip that sticks out, that's it. Everything else is not too bad.

So for indoor use, would the polycotton one work just as well?

The OEM cover would fit over the VeilSide V1 lip and NISMO V1 bumper, but it only covers half of the V2.

I rocked it like that (covering half the front bumper) for awhile, but the cover eventually ripped and I had to toss it.

Either should work, I would call to confirm that they have it in stock otherwise you'll end up waiting (if you need it that badly).

Actually it fits pretty tight around the car. Outdoor use is fine as well.

Polycotton Car Cover, 07-08 350Z Nismo
Code:50-9005
Price: $139.95

Had a break in weather so I washed my car and dryed it then put the car cover on before the rain came today. You can see that the cover looks soaked but underneath its all dry. The cover comes with a tie down but I also got a cable and lock for only $15 bucks.

Six month update:

The cover has been really good and it is still in perfect condition. It has proven to be water-resistant but not completely waterprooof. In heavy rain it soaks through but drizzle/morning dew it doesn't allow to soak through.

As you can see, it leaves additional space above the spoiler where my Nismo V1 sits to possibly allow for an SBC.

Is there an alternative that's just a good and fully water proof?

Looks like the Technalon one. The Polycotton one looks more gray.

Waizzz, thanks the update. I really need to pull the trigger on this and get one. My Z stays in the carport but there is some neighborhood cat that likes to walk on it during the night.

Just make sure you order the Nismo version in order for the cover to fit over your aftermarket front bumper/rear spoiler.

No problemo JEKL, I think your situation would be ideal for the cover since you already are partially covered in the carport.

I too have a local cat who likes to mark his territory by peeing on my front bumper I just wash the areas on the cover that he hits and the car stays totally protected.

Year and a half later update.

The cover started to deteriorate and would leave a fine residue on the car. I looked around online and found out that the cover came with a four-year warranty.

I returned the cover to Cover Craft and they will be sending me a brand new one since they have determined that the cover deteriorated from excessive UV exposure and it is covered under the warranty.
