She's been in the shop since Monday. Had the wheels powdercoated and the door handles painted....both black. Turned out PERFECT! Door handles match the body and the wheels have a semigloss.

Plz no "painting stock rims sucks" haters. I've debated over this decision for the past six months and this is what I decided to go with. So you're wasting your breath.

I want to pc my rims just to have a little variation off stock until i get some new ones, but I think the 03 touring ones would look nasty pc'd. These look nice though

EDIT: Also, smoke dem tails and reflectors

 

great color choice! looks good with black door handles too maybe next some 5% tint and black calipers

 

OP, just watch out on those.. ppl that PC'ed those rim specifically found them cracking after some time.. search the forum and you'll find couple of threads about it.

btw, the car looks nice! i'm thinking of doing the same till i get my wheels.

 

Regarding smoking the reflectors and the tint...

I want to do both, lol. But I got sooo many tickets in my Civic (which you can see in the background, now beat to hell) that as for right now, I'm not doing anything illegal.

Tint law in Georgia is 32% which is what the windows are.

Originally these guys were supposed to smoke the reflectors but that's also illegal in GA so I'm holding off on that as well....for now. I may do a slight smoke later, I dunno.

 

I did see those. I brought this up to the guy at the shop and he said his honest opinion that powdercoating was a thousand times better than painting.

I guess if they eventually crack, I'll end up getting wheels. I love the look of black stocks for now though ;D

^LOL! Just sounds like you either didn't read OP's 1st post which explained the whole 06 wheels painted black thing, otherwise it sounds like you don't have an 06.

 

Looks really nice juju. Have you thought about white/clear reflectors in the front bumper? I had those on my Metallic Black '06 and loved the look.

OP +1 on the clear reflctors and also the shorty antenna.Blacking out the tails would look sick too.PC turned out really nice

I say black out everything. Headlights, tail lights, emblems, reflectors, everything.
