Has anyone put an '07 steering wheel on an 05? I'm upgrading stereos and will be adding BT capabilities. Assuming there aren't any fit issues, I would add the PAC steering wheel control interface to run my stereo from the wheel. I noticed the 07's sw are illuminated(05 is not), and I'm not sure about the cruise control wiring. Has anyone here made this modification or know of a write-up online?

 

I have an '08 and changed my head unit to the Pioneer F90BT. I also got the bluetooth and the steering wheel control adapter. The volume and seek work, but the Phone options will not work so they are dead buttons. Thought you should know before you make any big changes to your steering wheel. Also, of note, a friend of mine has an '03 and he kept his old wheel and added the radio controls to it without changing the whole wheel. That may be less work.
