Default how to tell if a seat belt is still good

i bought a pair of 350z's that are in need of some minor repairs.

one of the cars the bags went off.

my question is; there were 2 seat belts on the floor for the passenger side. one seems like it is missing the part the SRS system plugs into. the other (i believe the good one?) rattles and has ball bearings rolling around in the top part with the danger sticker on it. BTW the plug is not melted.

is the belt still okay?

thank you.

fix it in your car and drive into a wall to see if it still holds you.......................

lool j/k..

on a serious note tho, i'd buy new ones and skip fixing/installing those.

i dont mind spending the money, but if there is nothing wrong with it there is no point. has anyone had a belt out in hand?

if so did it rattle?
