Well i know the function of the Vortex generator on the EVO, and i would be very sure they are pointless to run on that 350z. Probably even pointless to run on a 350z with a proper roof high race wing.

You're definately right about it being pointless with a roof high wing, being its made to promote cleaner airflow from body to wing. But I was referring to the Evo with the monster rear wing and the Z's more modest group of Nismo/Nissan wings.

actually vortex generators break up the airflow going over the back of the body (basically dirty up the flow) changing the position of the flow and causing it to actually come in contact with the wing.
