Headlight condensation
I know there is another thread asking about headlight condensation but my question is, If i have condensation in my headlight should my OEM Hid shut off? all the other light bulbs work except for my hid bulb.
After all the condensation drys up my hid bulb works again. But as of right now the weather is keeping the condensation constant in my passenger headlight and i've been driving at night with only one headlight working.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
thanks.

don't waste another minute. from personal experience. i caught mines at the last moment. you need to take your headlights down. disconnect all the wires. remove the ballast and bulbs from the headlight. the water is probably reaching your ballast connection now which is probably why its not turning on sometimes. when you take the headlight down and remove the back cap in the back you'll notice a lot of the condensation will be gone. i used a hair dryer and a lot of time to take out the rest of he moisture before putting it back. be sure that all the connections are cleaned and dried up. at the bottom there is a small hose. i removed the small sponge in the hose. ever since i cleaned out all the connections its never came back. good luck with the fix. if you need help let me know.
