Hello everyone. I'm not sure if this in the right section as my questions doesn't really fall into any category, but if I failed hopelessly, i won't be upset if it gets moved.

Now my problem is I don't know the going rate for used z stuff. If it was DSM stuff I was trying to get rid of, I'd have no problem, but when I did some pricing research on these parts, the prices seem to fluctuate dramatically.

I'm trying to sell a couple of things to a buddy, but I'm not sure what the "going rate" would be for these individual parts.

Upper and middle intake plenum- I've seen them from $30 to over $100
Stock engine cover- $20-$50
Pulse Plugs- new cost me $80, only used for 10 miles
Kingstyle front lip- Saw it somewhere for $700 new... not sure what that would translate to used

Thanks for your help guys. I know it probably depends on condition and all that so in addition--the plenum is spotless, no burned oil marks, the cover looks like it was cleaned everyday (the old owner kept this car spotless), and the front lip has a couple of scrape marks on the bottom and could use a new paint job (flaking) and maybe the scrape marks patched.

You mean upper and lower plenum?

Research your parts in the marketplace to find good price points, the rest is common sense according to what paid new, condition, usage, and demand. If need be find a happy medium between the "fluctuating" prices listed and give it to him for that.

 

Thank you for your fast response. I have found a couple of the same things on ebay, and in the marketplace, but it seems the demand is low for the prices offered. I just want to get a good price and not continue the habit of hoarding parts haha. I mean I still have DSM parts in my garage for no reason. Thanks again though. I'll keep researching. Maybe I'm just asking what people are willing to pay for such things haha.
