Ok so i put a momo hub and steering wheel on my Z. when i tighten down the hub it puts pressure on the plastic ring that has the airbag plug and when i put the steering wheel on it is reall hard the turn the wheel. so i just tightened it up a bit and it is a bit smoother but it loosens up after a while. has anyone else ran intothis problem? if so what did you do?

 

man 64 people have looked at this thread and no one has changed thier steering wheel..

 

I'm thinking that the 64 people didn't have this problem. I'm halfway into my steering wheel, but need to get some bolts for the wheel tomorrow. I'll let you know if I have a hard to turn wheel when I get it mounted up.

happens on my old 280z.. thread locker works wonders..
