Its easy...use dental floss. Now the Nissan Emblems are a whole different story.

That's right. A hair dryer, dental floss and some goo gone are all you need.

Same way. There are just a couple prongs that go into holes to secure the hamburgers in. The other Z emblem covers these.

Thinking about removing the rear Nissan emblem as well.

Curious where you read about the 04's not having the prongs ?

Thanks

Well I removed the rear Nissan emblem on my 04 Coupe, and there are holes behind it
It must be just on the roadsters where there is no holes drilled.

So I just put the Z emblem there for now.

What do you think ?

I like it . Does the Z emblem have prongs that go right into the holes? Where'd you get the emblem, and how much?

I'm thinking of buying a Fairlady Z emblem from courtesyparts and just putting the "Z" on my new C-West front bumper. Does the "Z" emblem have posts?

Thanks!

Thanks man.

I took the emblem of the stock door sills. It is also on the rear strut bar.
I took a grinder to the 5 plastic posts on the emblem, and ground them flat.
Then put some double sided emblem/molding tape on the back, and stuck it on.
It just covers the holes.

I am still undecided how it looks.
But I did not like the big Nissan badge

koolzero - I was thinking the same thing
(btw The small z in "350z" doesn't have posts)
I tested out both Z's on the front of my aftermarket bumper, and not sure if I will go with one.
Maybe I will post pics, and get some feedback

Does the small Z from the 350Z emblem fit right into the NISSAN emblem prongs?
