Glove Box Bose Question
Ok, so I was planning on getting a sound system and remove the Blowse system. My original plan was to remove the bose sub and in that area put the amps. Then I got to thinking that I could dress the inside cubby hole and amps and modify the speaker grill to put a piece of plexi glass (with vent holes drilled, of course) so you can see in. This may be a real pain in the A$$ so another thought was to put a glove box in (considered an OEM room for amps?). Here are my questions:
Will a glove box "just fit" into the hole? And as I saw an issue earlier in this forum, will there be any interference with USDM (just the box, not the door) going behind the drivers seat, or does it have to be JDM (where the right seat is passenger)?
Will the panel with the bose grill snap into place with a glove box installed in the hole instead of the speaker? In other words, will the glove box stick out at all, or cover the fasteners that the bose grill uses?
Anyone think this is a good idea?
