Fitment sucks, sell it to me before you paint it.

^ callin once you paint it, the gaps won't be so noticable, I had same problem with my v2 and cannot wait to have them filled in...goooo with the canards btw looks killer sweet!

I can send some pics of my v2 so you can see it's not that bad.

Calin: I'm sorry if I am re-answering your question but I didn't want to read through all the pages.

The problem that you are showing with your gap is an easy fix. It is the foam support that needs to be shaved down so that the bumper actually "clicks" into place.

The body shop painting your bumper should be able to take care of this issue for ya, good luck to you by the way.

Replicas probably have the gap because authentic ones seem to also have it:

^ Actually I think that's a really good fitment. That gap looks the same as the gap between the light and hood. Thanks for the pictures!!

Same issue with mine and I got my v2 from AI.

I even took the impact foam from the front to see if it made any difference. Nope! It sucks because AI promised me perfect fitment just like oem. WTF?

that can't be right CK - I've seen 3 other v2's from AI where the fitment is much better then that. your gap is in a different area, they are talking about the headlight one.

is that installed properly? did you have a body shop check it out?
